7 more parties to join Sri Lanka Opposition Alliance
The principal policies of the Alliance will be known in a few days, and after the national elections is announced, the full policy statement will be disclosed.. After the discussions with the other parties which are prepared to join and the civil Organizations, the grand Alliance will progress as a most powerful Force to be reckoned with, he added.

There will be no alliance with the JVP, but on some issues the parties will work together. The Alliance is receiving special advice regarding the abolition of the Executive Presidency .The Alliance will abolish the Executive Presidency within 180 days of its coming to power. The Alliance hopes to put out a manifesto with time frames before the country, he asserted.
