Seriously, this is kiddy stuff. there are much more advanced ways to phish.

This is not a new type of phishing. this is called DNS spoofing.

Thanks:)... I didn't know someone has created a word for "DNS spoofing" with hostfile.

The thing ur talking about isnt really called DNS spoofing its DNS Poisoning and in this video I not talking about the both ..Im talking about desktop phishing ..there is a little bit dif bitween pharming and desktop phishing ..Im dont remeber the explanation on it .. thats it ..

This is pointless as, for this to take place. U have to commandeer the victims pc to make any changes to the host file or proxy setting etc. If you have control of the pc, why use this techniques to get a password ? simple key logger will be enough .

nice work. you have taken a lot of time and effort to make this vids. good work. as you said in the vid there are many... many... MANY ways of doing things. i honestly don't expect a average user to be able to defend them selfs if they are really targeted.

i agree with bash101 though.. if you can run something in someones box... why not just install a kernel level root kit. you can log everything... and do much more if you wish so... and get them to you.

yea but how will u get access to the victim's machine if it have AV ? To get access to u have to use some sort of back door or have physical access. pointless going all this trouble if u already have access to the machine.
