Facebook Lite Launched
On the 11th of September 2009, Facebook announced that they are going to roll a new preview of Facebook for the United States and India. Facebook Lite, as named by them, is a simple edition of their major social networking platform, Facebook.com.
From the 7th of October, Facebook launched this preview with new added languages to everyone. This rip-off edition of Facebook seems to be originating from Twitters design, but has some changes.
