UNP MP and former Health Minster Renuka Hearath speaking at a news conference today said that the government had used a particular Indian brand of rubella vaccination despite it being banned in India and this resulted in the death of a child recently. The child from Wariapola died from the vaccination after being admitted to hospital. .(YP)
