it must be noted there are some extremist elements (in both factions) are trying to creat a racial disharmony again in Mawanella area for their selfish agendas or behalf of their political masters.

It is always better to leave police and relavant authorities to take appropriate action first. But If they can not do it , then start to protest ...

by the way there are some Muslim extremists who want to erase the sinhala buddhist heritage from the Mawanella region..That is why authorities are keeping eye on them...This is the very native land of our Sinhala nation. No one be allowed to erase our own heritage...

Good work machan.... maath meka danna danna hamootama kiwa.... I tried to find all emails of legislative depts in SL and CC mail while writing media... but most of them didn't work.. i mean emails are not working... or closed for internal use... so bouncing back.. anyway machan.... maath thawa hamotama kiyanawa meeka.. including SL people livin abroad... and make a global movement to protect these heritage of sri lankans.... please write to UNESCO + UN further.. it's better to keep they informed too.

I went to see this temple during the last ceasefire time..... ee kaale maara dukai ee wihare dakkama.... maha winaasayak karala muslim ewun... unta onee okkoma bouddayanwa ee paththen ayin karanna... un pansaleeee akkara gaanak idam balen aiyithi karan.... inne hamuduru waru 2yi... eyalatath inna denne naa karadara.. ayi muslim minissu mee widihata hasirenne... ayi eyala mee widihata anith aagam nathi karala eyala witharak inna hadanne... meeka hari katha wadak.... meka buddhists la majority ekak inna hinda and api ehema kaatawath karadara nokarana almost peaceful jaathiyak hinda thamaa mee okkoma...

If Sri Lanka was something like Bangladesh now (which was a buddhist land long ago) fate of buddhists will be really cruel due to muslim majority...
