but in general, a religion can be seen as a set of concepts based on observation and also sometimes appear as an answer for the non-answerable question as well. but still there is something we can abstract from a religion. to make our lives better. i know most religions are always appreciating and encouraging a peaceful life.

yeah it is "550 jathaka potha" it has stories about lord buddha's past lives.Even these stories give us good lessons to make our lives better.And this is the only place u can find stories in Buddhism other than this all are practical

ok! i only looked at the first post and answered the question! btw! different religons has different concept about the beginning of the universe and etc. in buddhism we have a concept which is little bit similar to some modern concept. but as you can see, since there are different concepts from different religions, its not possible to give a single answer for all religions in general
