UNP MP Palitha Range Bandara, his wife and three children commenced a protest this morning outside the parliament over the incident where his house was burnt. Range Bandara speaking to Ada Derana claimed that one month has passed and no arrest have been made over the arson.

Thereafter, another woman staged a protest at the same venue. Inquiries revealed that she was his legal wife. She said she is the legal wife of the Parliamentarian. The two children obey him due to fear. He assaults the children and they are being misled. He took the custody of the children. They should be educated and not taken to the streets for demonstrations. She said he can engage in politics but the children should be left alone
