GEN. FONSEKA URGED NOT TO FALL INTO OPPOSITIONS TRAPS

“There is a plan now to field General Sarath Fonseka as a common candidate. This has been publicized by the media everywhere in the country. Even though he himself has not mentioned it, people have observe such indication and that is why we are gathered here,” said the Venerable Medagama Dhammananda Thera addressing a media briefing held by several Buddhist Organizations and National Organizations yesterday.
“As a preliminary step to stop these evil forces, we will, with the assistance of the most venerable Maha Nayaka Theras, advise Sarath Fonseka, who was instrumental in saving the country, not to fall into their traps.

"We will not let these opposition powers create alliances to trick and sacrifice him,” said the Venerable Medagama Dhammananda Thera."
