JVP leader Somawansa Amarasingha, speaking at a press briefing a short while ago involving all the political parties supporting General Sarath Fonseka, challenged both Fonseka and President Mahinda Rajapaksa to have a live television debate on various topics including the war.
General Sarath Fonseka, meanwhile, who was present at the briefing gave his thumbs up when he was asked by Mr. Amarasingha if he was prepared to face President Rajapaksa in a live televised debate. (ISA)
