IM A AIRTEL INLIMITED USER & IT SUX...
THEY GIVE 1.8MBPS FOR 1ST 10 GB AND I CAN DOWNLOAD WITH 200KBPS AVERAGE SPEED AND AFTER THAT THEY REDUCE THE SPEED TO 512 KBPS AND IT IS VERY VERY SLOW.NOW I CAN ONLY DOWNLOAD @ E RATE OF 30-50 KBPS.....I KNOW IT SUX.....DONT BUY AIRTEL !!!!!!!!!!!

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHATS THE BEST UNLIMITED 3G CONNECTION 4 A AFFORDABLE PRIZE BETWEEN RS 1500-2500 AND THE SPEED OF 1MBPS O HIGHER ???????????

AFAIK, there is no other 3G provider that gives unlimited connections.

I used Dialog. Its good but speed drops drastically after 6GB. Upto 6 GB I Didn't have any problem. but due to FUP I changed in to mobitel. Its really good but not unlimited.3 basic pckgs are there. The 8 gig one gives really 3.6 upload speed and additional 10mb blocks would be Rs 1.50. If u have a upahaara pcg you can have a nice data pck but with 1mbps upload speed!
For me both dialog & mobitel are ok

Mobitel DOES give but its too expensive(>7500)
Mobitel zoom 1290 is 8GB free there after something like 1.50 SLR for data packet...Virtually called unlimited

Can you give a link for that unlimited (>6000) mobitel connection ?

In all these data plans, the amount of data for free (2GB, 8GB) includes the upload data as well as the download data. So your true free download limit is far less. Also, if your PC is online 24/7 then the data transfer during idle times are also included in that data limit. So its not that good.
Also since all these 3G connection assign only private IPs, you cant use torrents on these connections. That's a big turn off for me.

So that's a hard limit.

Can you post the IP address mobitel allocates to your pc and torrent network settings you use?

Then Mobitel is good for areas that dialog has no coverage

AirTel is good for uploading, Not for Downloading
