UPF leader P. Chandrasekeran dies following a brief illness

Up Country Peoples Front (UPF) leader and Community Development and Social Inequity Minister P. Chandrasekeran passed away at a private hospital in Colombo this morning, a party spokesman told Daily Mirror. The Minister was in hospital following a brief illness.
