The United National Party today alerted the Elections Commissioner’s office and the Deputy Inspector General of Police for North Central Province on the movement of an unidentified armed group.

Security has been intensified in the Kaduruwela town of Pollonaruwa where common opposition presidential candidate General (rtd) Sarath Fonseka is due to attend a meetiing in a short while.
