Please be kind enough to note that from the dawn of January 27th, 2010, we as Sri Lankans do not live anymore under a Democratic rule of government.

Some may jeer me for the sheer warmth of supporting the winning party., but do note that the effect of this hostile take over and banishing the basic rights of every free human in this country will take it's toll in time to come.

Mark my words ladies and gentlemen, This is the beginning of the next Robert Mugabe and this is the beginning of the formation of a new Zimbabwe.

Mark my words again., before the end of 2010, the US$ will hit close to 160 rupees and the unemployment rate will hit more than 30% - 32% . The crime rate will skyrocket just as well with the price of commodities !.

May lord have mercy on our souls ! and our land !

What you support as a victory today can slit your throat tomorrow. !

The election was not fair. isn't it? .. do you deny ?

What on earth Common wealth election commission has to do with us?

Also, note that the UN officially denied the monitoring commission in Sri Lanka owning to the lack of time.

However, they do agreed to send a couple of their official down on unofficial means to overlook the entire process with the Election commission in Sri Lanka. The minute they landed, they were escorted to a Hotel and given a 3 week holiday trip coutacy of the government for sigh seeing. The officials which flew to Sri Lanka so much so even did not step into the election commissions office.

Let that be as it may so. The interesting point here is that you support this cheating and scoundrel method he used to win the elections.?

Can I ask you a simple question ? . what if one of the Mahinda boyz come and rape your mother today ? what democratic of social right do you think you have as a citizen of this country could take?

    NON !

Why? ,. cause idiotic chimps like you hail a crook and a murderer as the president of this country. Rather than despising and voicing against your own loss of freedom and democracy, you actually support it whole kindheartedly with a smile?

is this what our forefathers gave up their lives for? ... the FREEDOM of ones own choice and the democracy that all of us could live under?

and you let it ROB it out of you in broad daylight ??... and you cheer for it as well?

    I didn't say that did I?

I wouldn't mind even Wickramabahu winning the election in a fair and righteous manner !

My friend (of foe ) .. the simplest thing I am trying to screw into your thick head is simple.

We lost our right as a democratic country from yesterday.

    Do you accept that ?

it's not about who WON or who LOST ? .. it's simply we as the citizens of this country regardless of whom we voted.. we all lost ! and this day will go down in the history as a blunder of all ours.

    And that's a MOOT point.

It's not a HORA i am talking about. it's the sheer loss of our freedom.

Do you think from today onwards, you can expect at least a minor fairness in the system?

    No. non at all.

yeah ..we are systematically brainwashed into overlooking flaws of MR and believing in everything the ruling party had to say about the opposition they pretty much got us. we will take time getting outa this trance we are in now. we are not in a state of mind to accept that innocent mahinda is capable of any kinda bad deed.
really cheating the election or something like that is not the only thing he did, he also made nice back ground prior to that so he will be accepted whatsoever.

had sf been not so shallow and a lil bit on the smartside the outcome might have differed. but right now ppl are just glad some angry former military man is not ruling the country.. so if tyranny is upon us that's only cos we favored it and we still do.

Guys PLEASE call this quits!!! There is not much anybody(you nor I) could do. MR won, be if fair or not, and that is we will have to live for the next 6 years(or 8??)

We have been plagued with 30 years of hell on earth, PLEASE do not pave the way for another!!

I only hope that WE Sri Lankans can now accept the choice. If things turn out good it's for our benefit and in the same way if it turns out to the worst we all have to suffer together.

However, IF there is one Sri Lankan who is brave enough to commit to peaceful revolution (PLEASE MIND MY WORD "PEACEFUL"), I'd be a royal volunteer!!

God Bless OUR Country!!!! For Victory et Courage!!!
