I got this from Utorrent. But I think it's common for all torrent download softwares. So if u select the bandwidth allocation high, only upload speed will boost & because of this ur download speed will be slow.
No machan, Upload speed will be limited to the number u give. And because download speed is unlimited it will get boosted. And btw, bandwidth means BOTH upload and download :D (Google it)

My icon is Yellow It never becomes green. Can someone help me? I' tried this as u said.
Yellow icon = Ports incorrect. Go settings and select random port button. And Btw, check ur VirusGuard - If it is blocking that port (You can check it by pausing the virus guard for around 10 minutes and see if the icon becomes green :D

well this is my utorrent config and adsl modem config details. try this out

    ^^ =lol

Force start is for start torrents outside the queue
and High priority is to select which one should deserves the highest bandwidth from ur torrent queue

Yes Im aware. That is the Main use of that option. But as a side effect when you select Force Start for the specific torrent and the High priority for the specific torrent, the BitTorrent application moves all it's reserve connecion lines to allocate ur torrent. Try downloading one torrent without Force Start and with low priority. And again the same torrent with otherwise. You'll experience a slight difference :D But you can feel this only for torrents which has a slightly lower speed (like 35-45 on a 512kBps line) :D

    hahaha

who told you, man force start & priority is for ur torrent queue :baffled:

    33. What does Force Start (Downloading [F] / Seeding [F] ) do?

Force Start is a way to start torrents to bypass queue settings and seeding priority settings. It can also be used to make torrents keep running/start in "Turn Off" hours with the scheduler. For example, if you set it to run 2 torrents max, but wanted to run a third, you could Force Start the third one. Forced torrents do not count towards the queue settings. Or, if you had torrents set to stop at 150% share ratio, but wanted one to keep going, you could Force Start it and it would not stop at 150%.

You can make a torrent Force Start by right clicking on it, and choosing Force Start. This works regardless of it the torrent is stopped, queued, or started. To set it back to normal mode, right click on it and choose Start.

And set priority is for which file should try to fill up by the swarm pieces. If you still think they speed up ur downloads you -> FAIL
