I also had same doubt. coz, as and when any threads posted by buddhist let it be scientific,zoology,astrology etc... we argue with them based on islamic facts.and they bring false or misunderstood claim from Quran to prove as though Quran is not correct & unscientific.

Frankly I want to know from Buddhist brothers What is there in Buddhist scriptures other than medication.

That explains most of the things. You should not have been reading Ayurveda books written in Sanskrit like "සුශ්‍රැත සංහිතා". Should have read tipitaka instead
