GT umben copy karalada ehemath neththam umba GT gen copy karalada :P

anyway nice tool machan. For now I'm using Avira and for a long time I didn't infected from any virus. I will install this on my lap and see.;)

what Myth has posted is links to all the virus scanners and couple of line description about each one of them. And cloud antivirus at the bottom of the page and only saying good for slow computers. :P which is totally out of the fact.

I wrote this article all by my self targeting cloud antivirus and based on my tests and experience with the scanner for last few months. So don't compare giving links to a technical article. ;)

    They might release one soon.
You said you have never used a virus scanner for last 4 or some years.
Things changing in every OS now. Even Mac
not for me to use on linux dummy, to be used as a mail scanner or a be part of the cloud.
There's still no active virus for linux that actually needs a local memory or process scanner.

I can see every antivirus provider has released a Linux version of it.
And on servers we atleast put Clam AV.
Anyway every OS get viruses as it get popular with the normal crowd.
You can not say my OS can't get viruses coz its secure. Viruses are just harmful code which will change your system in a bad way.

If you know what you are doing you can use Windows 7 without a virus scanner too. But normal ppl are not computer pros. Thats why you need scanners.

Ya will talk about this in another thread. Mac ppl also saying the same thing about their OS.

Anyway back to the topic, Its really nice to work in a cloud and help each other to combat viruses as a huge team.
