why...DR.Zakir Naik is a well respected world renowned scientist and historian.....

he speaks in front of all kinds of clergy in India...Singapore...Malaysia etc etc....and answers questions about Islam....

Firstly, Zakir Naik is NOT a respected nor a world renowned Scientist and a Historian. He is only an ideologist of Comparative Religions specialising in Islam and nothing else. So he is biased to his own ideas.

On the other hand, I personally don't mind him coming to Sri Lanka or not.
It will not have an impact on people who follow their religions with real understanding (Buddhist, Christian or even Islam).

People should be scared of him if he is a powerful personality. But the fact is he isn't got any power or glory among other communities. Only Islam people sort of worship him.

in a small country like sri lanka....we minority (Muslims...tamils and Christians together) out number sinhalese....

besides man....most major companies of sri lanka are run by Muslims...Tamils or Christians...only small amount of big companies are run by Buddhist Sinhalese....

the constitution and govt doesn't dictate the majority...the citizens do...the constitution can change....our bond doesn't....

two of these countries had predominatly Muslim technology.......and Muslims were into trading all over the world....after India we put forward the numeric system....

Yes, I agree with you to the fact that he is world renowned. Initially I was opposed to the world renowned "scientist, historian" bit.

Yes, he is renowned for making false claims and distorting the same Quaran for his own ideals. And later being not available to rebut the opposed comments.

Ultimate bottom line is, he is another one of those people who try to sell something to make a living out of it.
