The M60A1 AVLB is used for launching and retrieving an 18 m scissors-type bridge. It is a combat support vehicle and has 3 major sections: the launcher, the hull, and the bridge. The launcher is mounted as an integral part of the chassis. The bridge is for tracked and wheeled vehicles.

The Trojan Armored Fighting Vehicle is a unique looking machines operated by the Royal Engineers of the British Army. It is a minefield breaching vehicle amongst other things. It was designed for mine-clearing purposes and can also carry behind it a rocket-propelled mine clearing system. It also carries a 7.62 machine gun for protection from airborne and ground threats. It can attain speed of 59 km/h or 37 mph.

This unique-looking vehicle is a field-deployable river crossing apparatus. Its name means forward crossing apparatus. It is used by combat engineers in the French Army. This multi-purpose can be used as a bridge or as a ferry.
