One thing I must say, films are illustrations of the Bible, but it is imperative that you rely on the Holy Bible itself as your first source for an issue you may be facing. Films and other media do help in understanding, but because of time issues or what not, there tend to be gaps or missing elements from what was actually written in the Bible.
May you seek Jesus with your heart and by doing so you will find Him and come to know Him.
