How do I find out what motherboard I have?

nope you can't.....Command prompt doesn't interface with any hardware except sound...display and network cards.....and obviously the keyboard....:lol::lol::lol:

but you can check it at system start up and at the BIOS.....but you need good hardware knowledge for that.....:oo:

When you boot you will see a string of numbers at the bottom left of your screen - best the push the PAUSE button when they appear because they are gone in a flash - to resume boot just press any key - write these numbers down because they are your mother board and bios numbers - preceding these numbers there should be (from memory) something like "VIA" or "ASUS" which is the manufacturer of your motherboard.
