this is not the way it's made in SL. pepsi is bottled by maharaja (Ole to be precise, which is a subsidiary of maharaja), elephant house by john keels, and coke by Coca Cola SABCO. the stuff they make in SL is pretty safe.
(i worked for coke so i know how they make that stuff in sl, so, unless you excessively drink that stuff, there's no real harm, and of course there's no real advantage of drinking them either)
