HELP : TRP to AVI/MPG Converter

i need to convert TRP files to avi or mkv or etc... format which i can reduce file size. anyone who can help me ???

Transport stream caps right?
use handbreak, good one click encoder!

i tried handbrake.... but the output quality is not good.... :s

^ thats what 1 click encoders always do.
then make ur own AVS script & pass it through x264.exe! kinda hard work. refer doom9 guides
