Try to avoid buying slider phones as much as u can cos I have cpl of slider phones (5300,N95) and both of them had to have their slider connection cables replaced after about a year of use. I asked about this from the phone repair guy and he said that it is a very common problem with most slider phones.

Hi, I've been using 5800 for nearly one month. I didn't install much applications and make sure you disable the 3G if you're not using. Otherwise it is a battery life drainer. Apart from that I love this phone. Only negative side is I couldn't find a good phone cover for this and the Nokia original cover is not a user friendly one either.
I can't remember this phone getting stuck at all. I think this phone series is much more better that slide ones.
My previous phone is Sony Ericsson w905i and it really sucks. That phone used to be getting stuck frequently.
