if u say its rotting old.it seems u have an allergy to old movies. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) 8.7/10 is one of the best action adventure movies around.

afaik the picture quality/photography of tarkowsky movies are unmatched..and they are from 60s, 70s and 80s ..

cinematography IS a big deal yeah some of them are colored..and andrei tarkowsky used both colored and black and white in same movie too.

you know some movies are just so beautifully photographed that you dont even care for the story much ...he's oneof those directors and this include directors like terrance malick.
