can single port adsl router do dual port?

i hav 2 pc's @my home and one router.i created a cable (2 cables into one port) and didnt succeeded. 7 installed pc hav intnt connection 100mbps and da same tym xp pc shows it connected to a network but 10mbps,cnt connect to inet.7pc got no probs with inet connection.wen da 7pc's network cable removed,xp pc can connect to inet.

i wnt to connect dees 2 pc's to da single port router witout adding to network/workgroup.is there any way?without buying a new routr?

I also have 3 computers and using one router. what you have to do is that you have to buy a switch (4 or 8 port) and connect a cable from router to the switch line in and you can have multiple connections from the switch

Most of the 1 port routers has usb connection too u may use that for a one pc if available!

nane banz.dis is a free router gave from slt 3yrs ago i guess.dis has 1port ethernet port only ne banzzzzzz

will be less that 3,500/- as I have a 8 port one and cannot remember the price

or u can simple use ethernet and USB together hehe i did it once and worked.

8 port switch is around Rs 3000/= AFAIK
