No, just that some changes and slight plot changes has been done in the movie.
I highly doubt it. Are Rajitha_ks and thm14 authorities on Sir Doyle's works to say that the translations are better than the original work ?
I don't know even if there is such authority how they would state whether the translations are better than the originals lol that's stupid of you to ask
it's just the reviews on both versions by individuals; their views may differ from one to another:rolleyes:

you should see daron araforonwtf's (requiem for a dream, the wrestler, fountain) first movie Pi..in the same league as following, only Pi was a bit better...watch it since you are in love with hebrew shit.

and to maximize the movie experience, you should have listened to the progressive metal album Lateralus from the band, Tool. that album started to make so much sense after i saw this movie ..actually its thru that band that i found out this movie.

    off topic
Try some Sinhala translation of Sherlock Holmes(චන්දන මෙන්ඩිස්) . I hear it much more entertaining even than Original one (Rajitha_ks and thm14 seconds it)

chandana mendis' version don't have the witty english dialogs the original sherlock holmes books have :P

Im sure requiem for a dream is a good one but surrounding and script arent my type :)

Fountain and Pi already on my list
    The wrestler is
    checking.................

requiem for a dream is like a punch in the face  now you can't like a punch in the face can you ..but it still leaves a hint of taste...I don't think I'll ever see that movie again but I won't ever forget what it did.

the only problem with movies like following or pi is that they are too short.

At least we have someone to take authority :D

Suggest you read the English unabridged versions before claiming translations are better.

What you're saying is similar to saying that the English translation of Mr. Wickramasinghe's Madol Doowa is better than the original!
