thank you for the link.....of the three videos...one was private so i couldn't watch it...
the videos basically consists of certain Tamil and Sinhalese officials...and KP...advising the "LTTE cadres" and Tamil diaspora in three different events branched together....(based on the banners n the background)...to not to lose hope...and move forward in life....and explaining the govt's plans....
i know Tamil AND Sinhalese enough to understand the situation better than you....
just coz members of the forces are there...doesn't mean they saluted him....
its called watching/protecting the valuable prisoner....as well.....dosen't mean he is being "glorified"......

Well my question is according to the government he is in Military Custody. So he is bound to the law that he is not allowed to travel and be at the head table of any meeting.
But few days ago Minister Dinesh said in Parliament that KP was taken to wanni as part of the ongoing investigations against him.

So I do not understand what type of ongoing investigation is related to KP being at a head-table in a function.
Also If you read KPs interview he told how he was greeted when he came to Sri Lanka. He was warmly welcomed at the residence of our TOP defense official and given internet access and telephone access. So can you explain how he was treated as a prisoner.
KP was arrested in Aug 2009. It has been more than a year. So how come he is kept in custody without a trial for such a long time?
It is clearly the government is hiding things from the public and giving a completely different treatment to KP.
Also please educate me. For the 14 months he is in SL, Did a single LTTE foreign leader got arrested? Or their funds given to our SL treasury?

and KP was not a field commander....he was more in charge of book keeping accounts etc....maybe the govt has taken other actions in secret?....
did the govt tell the public before they got KP?...didn't they keep it a secret until they caught him?....maybe they have even more operations planned....based on info given by KP.....remember the LTTE is still very much alive abroad....
and have you heard of tapping phone lines?....and intercepting mails?....i bet KP is not as dumb to use provided communications to take his messages out....but he could have let something slip....you never know...
