Now I am learning bit.... You said lightspeed webserver exploit.... I don't think he has exploited any vulnerability here.

Lightspeed or any other.... he mentioned root - shellcode ( I think he used shellcode to get in to the web server )

Not the exploit... And a perl or some script to do something....

Exploit can be patched isn't it.

cant be, in da mentioned document, he act like a genious and showing da password in bigger formats, i dont know whats he thinking, MD5 contain "1 to 9" and "a to f"

Exapmple - in websites if we forgot our password, admins RESET the password and give us a link. so if MD5 passwords are easy to decrypt, why they dont decrypt it for us? because the truth is itz hard.

All our EK members thank you for taking time to investigate this security issues of the site and taking a backup of the database, we feel safer that way because in any case we can contact you and get the database backup. Elakiri is public site if you hack it I dont think it will be a big probs, you can get the private messages may be chat histories but thats all I dont think there will be info as CreditCard info etc. And you cant take up the domain ?? GT will do another vbulletin installation and restore a backup, will have to wait few days. Just sayinn.
