    Industry has declined..... much that in some areas as many.....three people.....ten are unemployed. Those .... are employed count themselves lucky, .......there jobs may be.
    For school leavers especially,the prospects .....finding employment are not good. The government is trying to reduce unemployment ....encouraging more investment is industry. This is needed ... a time when many employers have to reduce their number ..... employees just....keep their companies going.

    Blanks filled in red. Whoever who wrote that sentence is not fit to teach. There's grammar as well as spelling mistakes in it.

    mama youtube comment wala damn kiyala word 1k dakala tiyenawa. What is the meaning of it. mama dictionary 1ke baluwa. but i cant understand...

    damn means condemn to hell :P but it's used as a cuss word...you can use it to express surprise. "damn" to express disappointment like you can use "damn it"

    just going to a class don't quite suffice..you have to have the enthusiasm and the will to learn...pay attention when people on tv or whatever talk english and re use the terms you happen to pick up..don't worry too much about the grammar, as you go on, you'd get better at it.

    what is the sinhala word for it??

    I don't know ..it doesn't quite translate ..

    damn is not a word they teach you at school that's why you have to watch tv, movies..where you can pick up street slangs and bents on the language..
