i dont think u'll find that in 10 inch ones.

    why u want 10inch? portability?

If you are serious in this try HP ENVY series, it really good. As a user (ENVY15) i can say its really light in weight, powerful, very well made, really good looking & very thin.

if you want a smaller one try ENVY 13 or ENVY 14. They have screens of 13 and 14 inches. You wont notice much difference in size compared with other 10inch laptops.

Only thing is I dont think theres anyone who get ENVY series to lanka, so you have to get it through another country (can get in USA for less price)

BTW ENVY is not the usual HP, as you may heard of complains on quality of some HP laptops. Envy is their premium range, directly competing with Apple powerbooks.

yeah all good lappys but since he asked for a 10inch, only one near that i can think of is Alienware M11x. its a powerful netbook.

New version got i5 cores, 11inch. But think before buy cos you might regret afterwards about size of screen. :)

    Thanks for ur advice,
    I need a smaller laptop bcz @ home i hv a 19inch desktop.
And for me laptop should mean "portability".
Why should we ache ourselves with a big backpack ?

IF i5 cores tend to create heat probs, I should consider buying 10inch i3

i have the exact same setup. :)
one thing i can say, when u got a notebook, u wont use a desktop. I only use desktop to DL torrents, thats all.

Anyway if u take the 13 or 14 envy to hand u'll really feel that its not heavy in anyway. only thing i hate about envy15 is the power adapter's weight. Since its 120w its heavy so to tell u the truth backpack is heavy. But i think envy14 & 13 should have smaller adapters.

only thing is if ur lappy got a proper screen u will find it worthwhile, cos as i said i'm sure u wont use a desktop when u got a lappy.
Even i thot of using the desktop's screen to be used with the lappy, but too lazy to sit around when u can easily use the lappy on the bed ;)

but as u said if your travelling everyday in long journeys maybe in bus etc, you might be better off with a 10 inch.

didnt hear much abt i5's heat issues, i feel there wont be much difference compared with i3, unlike i7 which is usually got a big temperature (heat) difference compared with i5.

havent really check, you better check that in net and see.
