Have you ever been scared to drive your car at night? I don't mean scared of ghosts or goons. Im talking dirty cops.I have sooo many stories I could write about. here is my latest.

I was driving down fife rd. with my wife on 25th night when I got stopped by the kuruduwattha police. Unfortunately,I had left my liscence in another car and forgotten it. I told them that I could get it delivered in 20mins but they disagreed. Then they said spoilers are not allowed on cars and that my car was too loud. I do have a modified car,but how the hell does he know what too loud is without a decibal meter?and since when was cars not allowed to have spoilers. It does not end there though. When we went to the station, they said that I was drunk as well. I was asked to blow the balloon and was made to do it three times when nothing showed up. I had had a little wine that day and I guess that showed a little and I was held positive on drinking too. My sample, was bagged behind me (It is the law to be done in my view) When I told them that I need the evidence in my view at all times, they scolded me and made a big deal. They made me sign a statement even after I told them that I cldnt read singhala and tried to jail me that night claiming I acted too smart.
I went to courts in 2 days and was fined Rs.67,000.

swollen head? how can you say that mate? and you say serves him right? nice.. I'm pretty sure your opinion won't be the same if this happened to you.

The cops have become pathetic now. they will bend over backwards and smile from ear to ear when those escorted premium vehicles fly by - but when an ordinary citizen does the smallest of mistakes they go to town on them.
