Rewatched- the little world of Don Camillo(1952).All five films are classics I recommend them to anyone who likes good comedy.

Watched this last night on TV Lanka.
From 1967, a true masterpiece of SL cinema. Denawaka Hamine was so natural in her role that I was sure that she'd have won best actress award and looking it up on wiki, seems I was right. She did win best actress award.
The movie itself has won Best film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress.
I remember, at a later interview with Denawaka Hamine (on an Auybowan episode), she had said that all her lines in this movie were improvised as she was not able to actually remember the lines in the script.
We sorely need more movies like this nowadays.

nope sorry thiis is not the same file
but you can check whether you could find the subtitles for this on subtitle sites before downloading..
2nd watch for both of above movies. I still enjoy them!

just finished watching this movie.its really really good.this movie addresses a vast area of human nature.for some odd reason i knew the gangsters weren't looking to kill grace and the leader must be her father.maybe its because of my sympathy towards Grace.
its a must watch.my ratings 9/10.
