that cos an insane sort of a pride comes over you with the idea that you are better than anybody else..it usually blocks your view on other people, so the world sorta starts spining around you she's a text book example of given scenario.

if you do have stopped consuming alcohol, well fair enough. you know how it feels when you are drunk and when you are not, so you might have a point. but if you have never tried i think you can't bring out a fair argument cuz you don't know what it feels when you are drunk

also different people have different point of views regarding all aspects of life. same goes to alcohol. maybe someone used to consume alcohol and quit cuz he doesn't feel good with it.all the same another can like and love the sensation. as long as one doesn't trouble others its perfectly fine to get drunk as much as he/she desire. i don't see any wrong in it
