not only in saudi...every where in this world a wife and a husband should discuss and decide about this type of things.in saudi they follow it legally to prevent from future problems.dont u ever heard in other religious followers who dont like there wife working. if husband agree wife to work then where is the point of discrimination here.really crazy!!!

who cares ur point of view.if wife want to work or study husband should present a letter.thats it.if he like he will give it and if not she will not. she can convince him if she like.its up to both of them.i live in middle east i can see how peacefully they live.not like our people who fight even in road.earlier i didnt know that they live peacefully ,walk in the road holding hands.
as how people talk i had a totally different picture.
some people want his wife to work so he dont have to take the full financial responsibility.she will like a cow in the field.go to a working women forum and see hw women depressed now because of men who dont have a ability to provide and comfort their family.

I would like to answer for the question posted by you.

Your argument is based on Islam or arab countries...if you say Islam I will say Islam gives equal right as man. If u say arab countries as u quoted above,i need from you what is your definition for the right and as per you what type of rights are expected to be given, can u give me some examples.

with regard to your links, In my opinion, Muslim women who want freedom and seek to smash all barricades of restrictions for this purpose are generally misguided. They can become doctors, engineers and choose whatever decent profession they want, but it must be within the rules prescribed by Islamic teachings. Some Muslim women who are under the influence of Western culture do not want to wear hijab. They want to put on lipstick, bleach their faces and show off their beauty to strange men..only those who protest on the street, mind it not all...

My question is: Is this the life they want to lead in the name of freedom? Islam will not allow free mixing of men and women and women showing off their beauty to strange men. They can take up jobs, but they must cover their hair and should not come under the influence of people with Western mindsets.

For your information, currently none of the Muslim countries are purely following Islamic sharia laws. However best example that i can give you only Saudi arabia for adhering Islamic law.


I don't know this news are wrong, no wonder if it happens, as i told you earlier, there are some who fond of western culture, let it be through any reason, of course western culture may influence in any open countries. Same people will like to change everything as they like. also, in some of the western countries veil is prohibited, some are protesting as to make veil is allowed for the good purpose, now will u say these western countries are not giving right to women as whole. Navod ayya I was wondering Actually what is a flying fart?? Is it a fart that you make when you fly or is it just a fart that flies? Like I have this theory only the place where a flying fart can occur is when superman farts when he flies.
