I'm sorry buddy..I dont think this thread is silly,but your subsequent question.this thread was referring to people who died despite they were /are called as God..now what is your issue here, are u trying to say they have not died...
anyone can define god by his own definitions.
reference to this thread I can say one of the definition that, God cant die..then how can he be God...
ancient ppl worshipped sun water trees etc, as they thought these are gods because they support their life. sun provide energy water life and trees food.i myself found very logical and reasonable to consider these as gods than bowing down before an unseen imaginary god
how come logical my dear friend..God should be capable of doing everything.for eg.tree, which can give u only fruits, can it give everything..of course NO..then u cant call that as God.
also as ancient people did worship the above said things, inorder to stop them from doing wrong worship only, God sent the messenger to say God is only One.this is what all the major religions like Judaism, Christianity, Islam say.
you may find still many people are doing the same worship as u mentioned..are u still supporting them? such as worship stone,snake,fire.
you cant challenge God only if u see u will believe in him...it is up to God, that he may be visible to you or not..he selected to be not to be visible to human beings..but what he did was he sent the messenger & his revelation to tell about him.whoever believe him will go to heaven & balance will go to hell fire..it is up to u to select whichever u want to choose.
even I never ever heard & trusted the Tsunami until it struck the Srilanka..Now Im so much fear about Tsunami..like wise only on the day of Judgement,there are many people will wake up & feel regret for their ignorance.
since anyone of this world has not any direct evidence of gods existance why cannot i ask for evidance . how come it is a silly question ?

Evidence is this wold, how the universe is created , how all things are operating systematically .how all the things has been setup inorder for human beings to lead a life. I dont trust something can come in to exist naturally, for everything there is a creator.can u say something which doesn't have any creator/manufacturer with proof....also u don't have proof/evidence for non existence of God..

where in the world there is evedence to say which god made the universe ? or none of these gods did ? who made it really ? christian god ? islam good ? or the countless other gods ? or by many gods ?ha ha sounds like a cheap fairy tale to me. again i can ask you the same set of questions athiests used to ask but i see no point in arguing someone who has been brainwashed from the birth to believe fancy stories without evidence
