I have the same problem with posting stuff in forums. since I understand that non of my replies to other peoples threads are going to approved, I stopped posting replies. 
I can only make threads

You should not include bb codes and links untill you become a senior member. This board requires 100 or 200 posts to become a senior member so Just post 200 posts and then you'll automatically unlocked by the system.
Settings are applied to all of the members in Junior and Member groups. Don't bother mods to change settings for a one member. these settings are applied to prevent human spammers and spam bots from posting links to external sites,
