I bought a Shilajit from Kashmir when I visited a place where they sell good quality Saffron. GAve a sample to a friend who is a chemist in a drug company but yet to hear from him.

It's a Phytocomplex formed for centuries by the gradual decomposition of certain plants by the action of microorganisms. The main ingredient is Fulvic acid between 60% - 80%. It's supposedly safe dietary supplement.
It's found in the Himalayas - India & Nepal, it has been also found in Russia, Tibet, Afghanistan, and now in the north of Chile, named as Andean Shilajit.
I have not seen any clinical trials, only heresay. However, it's not viagra. It's said that it can boost testosterone levels a bit. Viagra story is a myth.

I am not sure... It's said to be an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory (it's rich in Fulvic acid which is created by microorganisms) and might be beneficial in longevity, cognitive decline, immune health etc but it's a big "maybe"
No one did a real scientific study to prove this. Only people have been using it based on hearsay. I took it for a few days but didn't like the lingering taste of charcoal which is there for a few hours.
He did come back later on and said most likely it's a natural product. He confirms that it has Fulvic acid and also has Mg, Ca, K and Na.
