Hi everyone, I recently noticed an advertisement in the Elakiri Market section offering "Speed Bypass Packages" for just Rs. 500 (Link: https://elakiri.com/market/එක-පැකේජ...ාන්න-සල්ලි-වියදම්-කරනවද-අඩුම-මිලට-අපෙන්.2835/. Since these methods technically manipulate telecom network infrastructures to bypass their billing systems, isn't this a direct violation of the Computer Crimes Act of Sri Lanka? Can telecom operators track users via IP addresses or SIM details and take legal action, and could using such services actually result in severe legal penalties or jail time? If anyone with a legal background or expertise in cybersecurity can clarify this, it would be highly appreciated.
