This is so pathetic. Brown-skinned people already face the lowest level of recognition and respect in many places outside the island.
People who have lived outside the country, seen the world with open eyes and maintained a sense of self-respect may understand what I mean.
But to see this happening in our own country is just heartbreaking and pathetic.
This definitely needs to be addressed and regulated by the government.
Places that discriminate against customers based on their race or ethnicity should be banned and have their licences revoked.

Here's an idea. All Sri Lankans choose one of those hotels, the most popular in the area, and launch a smear campaign. Online and offline. Every possible lie and truth that would harm their reputation. Just that one hotel until nobody walks in. Foreigner actually hate discrimination. When the news picks up they will refrain from going there too. Until they shut down. And warn other restaurants that same will happen if they don't change.
