    Romantic?! i suggest u The Lost Girl of D.H. Lawrence, The Count of Montecristo of Alexandre Dumas( it drags the mind of the reader in a sea of extreme emotions, it makes u mad!), Tanja of Susanne Scheibler, The Lady and The Unicorn of Tracy Chevalier( just finished reading 2 days a go!). :D :D

    oh i hope u'll find tht book, cz in sum senses its the most beatiful compared to the kite runner, but u wud hv a different opinion since Thousand Splendid Sun talks about the women's situation during the war. Its really profound.
