VISTA TROUBLE SHOOTING THREAD

guys im on a laptop with vista home prmium.. last night i was just working on a document and suddenly the screen when off and then it came back aftr a few mins but the icons were bigger but the screen resolution was same as before.. i tried adjusting the resolution and the screen started going...
