    agreed. many years ago i tried experimenting with binding an exe with another attractive exe like a game. just for experiment and not to harm anyone's computer. yeah i guess the modern AVs know better. havn't tried with them though so not sure. i don't know whether you can still fool the AV's...

    bro if you write a batch file to delete or rename a file, it's a simple DoS command, there is no virus signature in it. virus is a program that infects a host multiple times with the tendency to spread. a simple set of dos commands isn't a virus :rolleyes: so it won't be identified as a virus...

    last time i scanned someones computer malwarebytes failed to catch a trojan that some other scanner did. i can't remember which scanner that was. but try scanning with another scanner as well if you don't get any results from malware bytes.
