    partition tables kiyanneth data ne... ewa thiya gannath space epai... :) thats why... if you have too many paritions. space is wasted to keep partition table information.. :( if you have only 1 partition if anything goes wrong with the OS sorry.com data walata.. :) hope U get the idea...

    having only 1 partition is very bad... having too many partitions is also very bad. waste of space.. :) Have something in the middle... eg : if U have a 160 GB HDD having 1 partition is bad. But if U have like 10+ partitions is also useless... So have sth link 4-5 :)
