    ADSL Auto Connect with router

yea old/plain telephone lines can support ADSL2+ ... but what i wanted say is that some lines which are pretty old are having noise(means damaged lines and stuff i guess?) so that makes good speeds impossible. im near my exchange(like i can walk to that thing within 20 minutes :-), but when i...

    ADSL Auto Connect with router

i hate quotas or anything related to em... so yea sure 512 with no limits is better for me cause i'm on 24/7. but for a regular user i guess some good speed with quota is better. hmmm ADSL2+ good... what about the wimax thing? i guess there is something wrong with the permission for them to do...

    ADSL Auto Connect with router

yea true, u can't expect them to give u full speed(512 in ma case). but sometime the connection is so slow. and by slow i mean slow! Local sites are ok becasue the local ISPs are having a local network to exchange there traffic(not sure about this ? can anyone confirm? :-). but i still think...

    ADSL Auto Connect with router

its like when you are behind a router with a private ip you cannot accept any incomming connections from the internet with out configuring your router for that. becasue all the packets that leave the router goes with the source ip of the router's interface. so all of the PCs behind the router...

    ADSL Auto Connect with router

Well i think i got it wrong, all the pcs connected to a route have there own private ips so even if the public ip of the router changes, the PCs won't really need to bother about it. cause all they do is forward all the packets to the router(which is the default gateway). but when the ip...
