    no no now you are getting away from the topic.. its about the connection between a pc and a amp.. so you cant have good audiophile level DAC's in sound cards..(if so give me a model..) so if you need a audiophile level quality you need a good amp(including DAC's).... and a digital connection...

    yeas you have to.. because speakers wont run by didigtal signals.. even the best DAC's cant convert the signal without a lost..(its simple science..) and read more about jitter.. its not what you are thinking.. :)

    thats depend on your taste.. i wont use my receiver for playing games.. i mostly use it to play songs from my pc... when im playing a song the pc is in idle state.. so the re-sampling wont happen...     yup.. and FYI most of the above brands.. makes worlds best AV receivers... why you need to use RCA when you.. can use a simple SPDIF output... :confused: so you can use true audiophile quality DAC's.. from your AV receivers... and you didnt mean that high end soundcards.. are greater than high...

    did you know that.. we are paying a rent more than.. your paying for a 6mb DSL... so when it comes to pc's our priority is for the games.. BTW i played Bioshock and used a head phone for sounds.. :P
