    yes coz most i5 & i7 are older technology than new i3s although there're some i5s which use new technology of i3. have to buy the correct model.

    i5 has 2 or 4 cores depending on the model and i7 has 4 but with hyperthreading it gives a performance of 8 cores. i5 & i7 have turbo boost and hyperthreading i5 & i7 = Core 2 Quad and Phenom II processors. i3 only hyperthreading = lower end Core 2 Quad

    I have 5800 and followed all the steps correctly. unlocked the mcard renaming SW.UNL and the sl map to GMAPSUPP.IMG pro is unlocked now but the slmap is not loading it says "no map" help plz
