    private sector people get EPF and ETF correct but still portion of that money is deducted from the salary itself, I can understand that govt. employees in health industry such as Nurses do considerable amount of work, but when it comes to people who work in airport, dockyard, ceypetco, CEB...

    of course they do 10-15 times more work than govt. employees so paying them 2-3 times govt. employees is not a big problem. And also they pay all PAYE taxes where govt employees do not pay taxes and they enjoy of a good pension after their office life.

    we always work few extra hours a day (10-11 hours) as private coporate employees so I think people who work for govt. has to do extra work then. And its government resoponsibility to increase salary, if they can find a way to increase fuel prices they should be able to find a way to improve...
