Did I say NO to that? I'm only saying that sometimes there are exceptions which you can't deny
Do you think learning Sinhalese will make them more patriotic?
I honestly dont think so!
Not only in England where ever Tamils live they speak the language of the majority, here in Malaysia no government documents are printed in Tamil or Chinese, only in Malay.
At least in SL they are printed in all 3 languages!
In general its logical that Tamils learn Sinhalese than Sinhalese learn Tamil..
However having said that there are exceptions too, if a Sinhalese intend to live in the North he/she may learn Tamil because that will make that's person's life much easier! Also if you visit the hill country like...
In any country (as I know) minority speaks what majority speaks!
Learning another language would be good for your knowledge but there's no practical use Sinhalese learning Tamil compared to other way around!
Like it or not that's the truth!
Doing fine, quite busy.. I'd just hop into EK on and off leave a comment and go
Would love to stay around and gossip a bit :P but its like 2 in the morning here.. gotta hit the bed ;)
Good Night.. or morning or whatever hehe
Dilshan's performance overshadowed other people's responsibilities!
When he was going along nicely everyone else expected him to finish it by himself... that's what happened!
