    But if Sheffield, which is a University and not a (small) College, is in the top 20 as you say, I can imagine as to how the rest would be below that 20. And of course no two universities are technically identical.

    Thats exactly what I meant when I said that the British Education system is loosing quality, pretty soon it will be more like a foreign location for the Sri Lankan institutes like ANC or ACBT. I doubt the new Visa reforms would do any good to restore lost educational quality.
