    Can't you obtain a second or even third opinion..? Aren't they supposed to take an Xray or a CT scan to demonstrate how the phlegm blocks those paths that connect ear canal..? I too would be reluctant to do a surgery on a developing child because of phlegm..

    Where I live, Motor bikes, travel in front of other vehicles and not on the far left side.. - so they can be seen.. It's the push bicycles that travel on the far left side and we have to keep a 1.5 m gap..
